Friends Toasting on the Beach Cake

I LOVED making this one for a wonderful friend. She has been so supportive, cheered me on, laughed with me, cried with me & never doubted I would make something of myself! You don't come across people like this often..so I CELEBRATE HER LIFE & SPIRIT! Since I can't take you to the beach I decided to bring it to you! CHEERS TO MANY MORE BIRTHDAY'S TO CELEBRATE!!! Friends toasting on the beach cake, 10in round is a layer of chocolate then a layer of vanilla drizzled with a coconut rum simple syrup!! Double layer 6in round is vanilla with coconut rum simple syrup. Vanilla buttercream icing, friends are made from a sugar sheet, brown sugar for a bit of sand & seashells are made out of chocolate!

Barbie Swimming Pool Cake

I made this Barbie swimming pool cake earlier this month. My computer was acting up & I just finished getting it fixed so that is why this post is late. This was such a fun cake to make for my daughter's girl scout friend who turned 6!! After the cake arrived we sat Barbie & her poodle dog on the cake! If I get some photos with Barbie on it I will post later. Square vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream icing.
