CHEESECAKES...that is all..... :)

Cheesecake has to be the best food in the world!! When you hide the huge crack with delicious goodness it gets even better! A Happy Birthday to my mom the greatest lady on this planet. She requested a cheesecake for her birthday & oh boy did I deliver. :) Check out this Oreo crusted, chewy caramel, coconut cheesecake drizzled with chocolate & sprinkled with chocolate chips....THINK big huge Samoa girl scout cookies BUT way better.....divine perfection!

 

This next one I baked was requested by my mom for a few of her co workers. Oooh don't you wish you worked with my mom! This was an Oreo crusted, chewy caramel, chocolate cheesecake.

Pink & Purple yummo!

I baked these cute pink & purple cupcakes. My daughter is in her second year of girl scouts & I thought I'd start their year of with a sweet treat! Yeah they need to eat healthy but oh my goodness is it nice to devour a sweet glitter cupcake!

A 77th birthday cake for a very special aunt! Aunt Jeanie & my grandma LOVED to get lotto tickets & go to the casino once in awhile. Marble cake, vanilla buttercream icing, gumpaste/fondant decorations, disco dust, & gold coins.

Princess Cake

I absolutely LOVED making this cake! This cake brought out the inner princess in me for sure! My sister ordered this one for a sweet little girl turning 4. Bottom tier is vanilla with ganache filling. Top tier is strawberry with strawberry filling. Gumpaste crown,silver cake spray, non edible jewels. Bow,sign & princess wand are fondant. Non edible ribbon & sugar pearls were used as well. Seriously what girl or lady in the world wouldn't want a cake like this!!! AHHHH LOVE IT!

Cake for the Greatest Friend Ever!

I have a friend who is the greatest friend in the world & I needed to make him a birthday cake! His name is Ryan & he lives back home in Jamaica. I met him about 10yrs ago online in a Jamaican chatroom of all places haha It's very rare to have friends these days that will do anything for you but Ryan will. 

His birthday is in May but I couldn't come for a visit until July. I believe every day should be celebrated because each day given to us is a blessing, so it didn't matter to me when we celebrated as long as we made it happen! I packed my baking pans, ingredients, cups, plates, table cloth, trick relight candles, decorating equipment, & headed home to JAMAICA! I baked a cheesecake & his birthday cake in one day!  It was so fun spending the day in the kitchen with his mom....I will never forget it! Here is the end result> 2 tiered marble cake, chocolate ganache filling, vanilla buttercream icing, gumpaste decorations & green/blue disco dust of course! 

Cheers to many more years of life, love, memories & laughs to celebrate!

Friends Toasting on the Beach Cake

I LOVED making this one for a wonderful friend. She has been so supportive, cheered me on, laughed with me, cried with me & never doubted I would make something of myself! You don't come across people like this often..so I CELEBRATE HER LIFE & SPIRIT! Since I can't take you to the beach I decided to bring it to you! CHEERS TO MANY MORE BIRTHDAY'S TO CELEBRATE!!! LOVE YOU Jan!


Friends toasting on the beach cake, 10in round is a layer of chocolate then a layer of vanilla drizzled with a coconut rum simple syrup!! Double layer 6in round is vanilla with coconut rum simple syrup. Vanilla buttercream icing, friends are made from a sugar sheet, brown sugar for a bit of sand & seashells are made out of chocolate!

Barbie Swimming Pool Cake

I made this Barbie swimming pool cake earlier this month. My computer was acting up & I just finished getting it fixed so that is why this post is late. This was such a fun cake to make for my daughter's girl scout friend who turned 6!! After the cake arrived we sat Barbie & her poodle dog on the cake! If I get some photos with Barbie on it I will post later. Square vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream icing.
