Bird Cage Cake

It's my grandma's birthday & she LOVES birds so much. She has a bird cage with one blue & one yellow bird. So why not make her a beautiful bird cage cake to celebrate turning 76yrs young! When she saw the cake she said "ok well how do we get into the thing!" haha I completely understand because sometimes it's hard figuring out where to cut such a fancy cake. Chocolate/lemon cake with vanilla buttercream icing. Blue/yellow decorations are fondant & brown bird cage is modeling chocolate! tweet tweet!



Yo Gabba Gabba Toodee Cake

This was a fun cake to make for a sweet girl turning 3yrs old! Everyone loves yo gabba gabba & Toodee is her favorite! Chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream icing.



DJ TURNTABLE CAKE

Believe it or not but this post has been 1 yr in the making! The day I knew I was having a boy I was super excited. The day he was born I already knew his1st bday party would be a rasta DJ theme & he would have to have a turntable cake to go with!! So here it is & I am very proud of this cake! My husband says he isn't surprised though b/c he said I can make anything...not sure about that but it was pretty funny to hear him say that! This was a day we will always remember for sure!

Sweet Sixteen Cake

My cousin Taylor turned sweet 16 last weekend but is celebrating this weekend. My aunt ordered this cake for the celebration! Chocolate/White marble cake, vanilla buttercream icing & fondant decorations. I also made a 16 topper & if I get a picture of it I will update this post! :)

The One & Only Easter Bunny Cake!

 I made this for my aunt for her Easter celebration later today. This isn't just any bunny cake.....it is the one that started it all. Years ago when I was 10 yrs old or so my grandma made this cake for me for my birthday. Out of all the birthday's I've had I don't remember presents, people who attended, or games BUT I do remember that one birthday when I had this bunny cake! It was the best cake ever! When I decided to learn to decorate cakes I wanted my kids to look back & remember awesome cakes! Now they are placing their cake orders 3yrs ahead of time haha

5 Years of Marriage & COUNTING!

The Pearson's are such a sweet couple & I just LOVED making this anniversary cake for them! I have never met a more loving couple & wish them many more years of marriage to celebrate!

Chocolate cake, vanilla buttercream icing, chocolate daisies, & blue disco dust for a sweet couples 5 year wedding anniversary!! On an anniversary website it said blue was the color for the 5 year anniversary & that daisies were the flower b/c it meant loyal, so this is why I used these colors/flowers.
